Practical Life skills permeate the culture of the classroom where independence is fostered in each child. "Help me to do it myself" is the prevailing philosophy of the classroom.

Child-sized implements and specially designed activities promote the child's ability to manage their own affairs, whilst improving fine motor skills and often providing pre-literacy and pre-numeracy concepts in the program.

"Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed."
